Tulips are an enemy type that first appears in Tulip Tango and only in the first episode. They are a rather bizarre creature, appearing out of mounds to spit yellow blobs at the submarine. Tulips are immune to most weapons; only the level 4 weapon and the pulse cannon actually kill tulips. Weaker weapons simply cause the tulip to hide in their mound and reappear later.
